At The Furnace, our goal is simple: To seek God, join with the heart of Jesus, and partner the Holy Spirit in releasing God's power on the MSU campus. We invite believers in Jesus Christ from all walks and groups to join us. The Furnace is not a campus fellowship group. It's a meeting to pray for the Kingdom of God to come on the MSU campus. Unity is a vital ingredient to releasing God's power here. How we do it: worship & prayer We praise the Lord together in worship songs. In this way we place our hearts into God's Presence. As we do this, we begin to experience His heart. He will stir the Truth of His Word and His promises in us, and we will pray and sing from the Scriptures. The Bible contains the words that have come directly from the heart of God, so we know that as we speak them back to Him, His heart will be moved to answer us. Praying the Word means praying perfect prayers that are straight from the heart of God. Any person with a grain of faith can be powerful in prayer. We are all mighty in God! |
